Fabrics Of Raincoat--Gomiek Raincoat
In modern society, raincoats made of plastic film or treated rainproof cloth are often used. These raincoats have the advantages of being easy to make, lightweight and soft, with a wide variety of colors and low prices. There are various common raincoat fabrics in daily life, including nylon Oxford fabric, coated fabric, polyester fabric, PTFF (polytetrafluoroethylene), Gore Tex fabric, etc. However, for outdoor athletes, the fabric of raincoats needs to be both comfortable and breathable.
Adhesive tape: The glue of the raincoat is attached to the cotton fabric, which is soft, thick, and relatively sturdy.
Rainproof cloth: Two coats, with good waterproof performance, but relatively thin and brittle.
Plastic: Raincoats are easy to carry, have good water resistance, and are inexpensive, but their lifespan is not long.
Oxford fabric: A fabric made of cotton or polyester through a specific weaving method, which is easy to wash, quick to dry, has a soft hand feel, good moisture absorption, soft fabric color, soft body, good breathability, comfortable to wear, and has a dual color effect.
Coated fabric: The inner surface of the fabric is coated with a layer of waterproof and breathable coating, such as raincoats commonly used by police officers and mountaineers. The waterproof and breathable effect is good, but the price is high.
Polyester fabric: The biggest advantage of the fabric is its good wrinkle resistance and shape retention, but poor dyeing and moisture absorption and breathability.
PTFF (polytetrafluoroethylene): It is lightweight and comfortable to wear, with good waterproof and breathable performance, and is cheap. First used in the production of military uniforms and protective clothing, and later used in the manufacturing of sports clothing, tents, and other items, it is also an excellent material for biochemical protective clothing.
Nylon: The product has good luster, strength, and wear resistance, but it is prone to deformation under external forces, so its fabric is prone to wrinkles during wear.
Gore Tex: With excellent wind and rain resistance, comfort, and breathability, it is composed of thin film and high-performance textile fabric, and sealed with a new type of adhesive, providing long-lasting waterproof protection.
